Attendance Codes

• Absence Excused - the parent/guardian notified the school of the absence
• Absence Unexcused - the parent/guardian did not notify the school of the absence
• Late Excused - the parent/guardian notified the school that the student would arrive late OR an adult in the building notified the teacher that the student would arrive late to a particular class
• Late Unexcused - the parent/guardian did not notify the school that the student would arrive late OR an adult in the building did not notify the teacher that the student would arrive late to a particular class
• School Excused - the school has initiated the absence (field trip, school sporting event, etc.)
• In School Suspension - the student is working in the office for the day instead of in regular class for disciplinary reasons
• Out of School Suspension - the student is not allowed on school property for the day for disciplinary reasons
